The creative process in which Marcantonio was inspired is undoubtedly the idea of wanting to give a new identity to objects, changing their function at will.

The Amazzonio lamp, either alone or on the floor, is based on this same thought. In addition, the designer tries to stimulate our imagination, thus giving us the mental impulse to imagine ourselves in some imaginative setting, or in some adventure in the Amazon rainforest.
