Funiculí is a reissue of a lamp designed in 1979. Lluís Porqueras has always designed seeking absolute simplicity, eliminating the superfluous until leaving the essence of the useful and simple object. 30 years later, Funiculí is still very current, both in its purist forms and in its performance.
Respecting the initial design to the maximum, only its proportions have been updated. In this new version, the fabric on the screen unlocks the light, allowing it to better filter and illuminate the space. It shares the same structure as the original, so you can easily adjust the lamp to the desired height. The essence of both lamps remains their simplicity, but the new design is elegant and classic, perhaps even more sophisticated than the original.
Base and shaft in lacquered iron. Fabric shade. Black rubber that wraps around the base.
