Cyls Floor

Cyls is the first collection designed by Mermelada Estudio for the company Estiluz and is presented as "a simple and honest lamp that avoids grandiloquence and recalls the importance of small things". The minimalist and architectural aesthetic of this new proposal, added to the functionality and performance of its different luminaires, allow it to illuminate different spaces: from a bedroom to a restaurant, through a work or rest space.

The Cyls family, which was presented during the Barcelona Design Week 2020, is made up of a ceiling, floor, table and wall version. The metal structure is available in black and beige, although the manufacturer offers custom finishes for architecture and interior design projects. There is also the possibility of incorporating a polyester fiber screen with a protective PVC coating to create a warmer environment.

The floor and table lamps have a reading arm that can be adjusted horizontally. This movement is complemented by the 360º turn, which allows the light beam to be directed where desired. Likewise, you can also choose the height of the ceiling lamp (maximum length of 200 cm) as well as the intensity of the light of the entire collection as long as bulbs of this type are used.

The cylindrical lampshade allows its rotation to direct the light. The extendable arm is balanced on a circular base in polished steel or marble. By adding a polyester lampshade, Cyls will shine with warm, diffused light, romantically illuminating any space.
