Hover floor lamp, designed by Yoy, for Lodes
The Hover table and floor lamps feature a shade that appears detached from the base, seamlessly connected by a single cord that runs through the bar and out. The end result gives the impression that the light source is practically weightless and floats in the air, like a balloon.
Hover is equipped with a regulator that controls a power switch located at the top of the bar; users, simply by touching the top of the bar, can regulate the intensity of the light. All the technical functions that are normally outside have been painstakingly incorporated into the internal structure of the lamp. In addition, power is supplied thanks to a USB cable.
The lampshade is made up of a sheet made of a special compound of paper and polymer film that on the one hand accentuates the lightness of the design language and on the other extends its useful life. The blade is supplied in packaging specifically designed to avoid waste, allowing environmental impact to be kept to a minimum. The customer can easily mount the screen thanks to a plastic film that allows the two ends to be joined.
Hover, available as a table or floor lamp, is 51.5 cm high in the table version, while in the reading version it is 149.2 cm. The series adapts to different uses, such as on a desk, a small table or next to a sofa. The floor version can also be used in public spaces such as an airport lounge, a hotel room or a lobby.
