Copenhagen CPH 20 Round dining table, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, for Hay
Copenhagen is a furniture series designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, especially for the University of Copenhagen in 2013. In addition to a homely and welcoming expression, functionality, durability and cleanability were important design requirements for the university. The Bouroullec brothers tackled the task by fusing design history with modern technology in a language with a strong and independent appearance in a broad and versatile series that spans both public and private settings.
With the same angular legs that are characteristic of the Bouroullec brothers' Copenhagen range, the CPH 20 table features a round tabletop that softens the engineering expression. Equally suitable for intimate gatherings and larger, café-like settings, this versatile table has the ability to blend into both private homes and public spaces.
18mm plywood board with beveled edge.
Top in solid oak wood (natural wood color), laminated plywood (bench color) or linoleum (other colors)
Light lacquered solid wood legs.
