Normann Copenhagen is a Danish design company with a mission to create original and innovative products with a simple and contemporary design that will stand the test of time. Or in other words, defy conventional thinking and make the ordinary extraordinary through great design.
Established in 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen, the Normann Copenhagen brand encompasses a vast and ever-growing collection of furniture, lighting, and home accessories. The products are sold in more than 80 countries around the world and have won more than 80 design awards along the way.
Normann Copenhagen committed to design that lasts, both for the consumer and for the environment. Together, we can limit the impact on the environment by buying less and therefore producing less. In 2012, Normann Copenhagen established an in-house design studio with designers and engineers who worked closely together to shape design processes from initial idea to final product. By introducing a new furniture design to the market, a new lamp or an accessory, the team of designers and engineers challenges existing forms of production and utility of materials, in order to create the best possible product, manufactured the way more responsible.
Normann Copenhagen collaborates with the most recognized designers, but also with new talents who are passionate about Nordic design. Hans Hornemann, Rudolph Schelling Webermann, Simon Legald, Iskos-Berlin, Tatsuo Kuroda, KaschKasch, Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, Jonas Wagell, are part of the great Normann Copenhagen family, and I have them in my online store!
