Bell portable lamp, designed by Cristian Cubiña, for Alma Light
Bell is a small luminaire with the shape that the old hotel counter bells used to have that served to notify the receptionist.
What most strikes us about the Bell lamp is its exotic, summery and elegant air, capable of gracefully lighting a restaurant table or outdoor terrace, or being used as ambient lighting in chillout spaces. It is made with noble materials – wood, stainless steel, polished and varnished brass – which makes it a refined product that can be perfectly integrated into select environments, especially gardens, terraces, yachts and outdoor dining spaces.
Bell is a cordless lamp with 10 hours of autonomy.
The Bell lamp is a cordless lamp. It is made of solid wood from a tropical tree called 'iroko', which is ideal for outdoors as it is strong, stable, invulnerable to insects and weather resistant. BELL has IP45. The light source is a 1.3W Cree LED, with a temperature of 3000K and a maximum intensity of 150 lumens. The light is adjustable in intensity by means of the aforementioned 'on/off/dimmer' touch switch located on the base. Its lithium polymer battery is rechargeable using any USB charger -the same one we use for our Android mobile-, it takes about 5 hours to charge and offers a range of about 7 hours.
