As with all Mila objects, Cestita, designed in 1962, strikes a balance between rational functionalism and the legacy of local artisan creation. With this new version, technology helps to improve its characteristics, maintaining the warmth that characterizes the family.
The lamp is a kindred spirit of the mythical company Tramo (Annoying Works, annoying works in English) founded by Milá in the early sixties to self-produce his creations: all kinds of simple and essential objects that help transform a house into a house.
With its freedom of movement, Cestita Bateria is a lantern that gives the atmosphere of pleasure wherever it is carried, that represents shadow puppets in the garden or that emits light from all corners.
