Floor lamp from the Ginger collection, designed by Joan Gaspar for Marset .
Wood is a great ally of the most intimate lighting, a complicated material to mold that the Ginger collection solves with clarity. The combination of sheets of wood, paper and resins pressed under high pressure achieves a luminaire with an almost flat, sober appearance, which illuminates spaces with indirect light from a slight presence.
The Ginger collection has been expanded over time to provide solutions to different lighting needs, with different versions of suspension, table, wall or floor, and with a mobile arm. A new smaller suspension size has been incorporated, a portable tabletop version, another wall-mounted version with a mobile arm and three sizes of wall lights of great formal simplicity that can be combined with each other.
This year the new version of the Ginger in metal is presented, which offers the same warm light by reflection without dazzling and which helps to emphasize spaces. This material is applied to some models in the collection with different finishes: gold, black or white on the outside, and gold or white on the inside.
A new, lighter, refined, almost sculptural possibility. With these two very diverse materials - wood and metal - the Ginger becomes a versatile collection, closing the circle: there is a Ginger for any lighting and aesthetic need.
