Copernica floor lamp, designed by Ramírez i Carillo. By playing with counterweights of different density and materials, it is possible to move the lamp with great precision, reaching different heights and distances to adjust the position and direction of the light beam to taste.
Copernica floor lamp, designed by Ramírez i Carillo, for Marset
By moving the Copernica lamp one can feel the sensation of weightlessness. As if levitating, its weight is barely noticeable, it moves through space precisely without friction or resistance.
Circles, semicircles, tubes and bars of different diameters and thicknesses, different materials and weights... With all these primary elements, the Copernica collection builds geometric light sculptures that combine functionality with the beauty of pure lines.
The collection is made up of a desktop version and a standing version that play with counterweights by mixing materials of different densities, such as aluminum at the head or steel at the opposite end. This structure allows the lamp to be moved with great precision, reaching different heights and distances to adjust the position and direction of the light beam.
Copernica draws minimalist sculptures in space as if it were a canvas, and is offered in different colors that provide chromatic details to the whole.
