Moving the point of light, this is the idea behind the new design by Jaume Ramírez. Milana consists of a system of modular suspension lamps that are combined with each other and can be moved both vertically and horizontally. Paradoxically, this design begins with the deconstruction of the archetype of a lamp: synthesizing it to the maximum, it is only left with a suspended cylindrical body with a built-in LED.

Different conical screens in two colors - pearl white and black - and various sizes can be added to this cylinder. But the most ingenious thing is that each of these lamps can have a simple counterweight that allows them to be moved when hanging between two points. An almost imperceptible lens covers the LED and takes care of distributing the light: if the luminaire is only used in a cylindrical shape, the direct light downwards is impeccable, and when a shade is added, the light escapes radiating the lamp itself . This new lighting system grants control of the light to the user, proposing a new conceptual proposal.

Dressing and undressing the lamps, moving them, raising or lowering them. Mix cylindrical shapes or combine them with decorative lamps. Join direct light with indirect light. Milana allows you to create countless compositions, a symphony of light.
