Opal white methacrylate lampshade version of the famous Disa Lamp, designed by José Antonio Coderch and re-edited by Tunds
Version of the famous Disa Lamp, designed by José Antonio Coderch, re-edited by Tunds , with an opal white methacrylate shade.
The award-winning and admired DISA lamp, also known as the Coderch lamp, in the shape of a gourd, was the only lamp model that the brilliant Architect in life brought into production in the mid-1950s.
TUNDS reissues it as always with the development supervision of the Coderch heirs. In this update, the original dimensions, materials and proportions designed by Coderch have been recovered and aspects that were pending in previous versions have been improved.
It is an indoor lamp with black anodized aluminum rings. A light interior structure supports the lighting system with LED technology. The thin sheets of wood or white methacrylate are fastened by means of fasteners, keeping the whole the beautiful characteristic figure of the DISA lamp.
