Surely, when thinking of a director's chair, the first thing that comes to mind is the chair model that began to be marketed during the industrial revolution, and that became another Hollywood star. And it is that this comfortable and light folding fabric chair, which has reached the most famous directors of the seventh art, is considered one of the most iconic examples of industrial design.

That is why the French designer Philippe Starck has taken several years to redesign this icon that includes the essential characteristics of the emblematic director's chair that we all know but taking it to his field. However, its usefulness, lightness, comfort and ease of transport remain, that is, that versatility thanks to which it has earned a place in various homes.
