Naked coffee table, designed by Kristina Sofus & Tommy Hyldahl, for Norr11
The NORR11 Naked collection, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, is a celebration of the purity of materials and the beauty of the essential.
Available as a side table and a coffee table, Naked reduces design to its bare essentials, giving absolute prominence to form and material. Without hidden structures or superfluous elements, each piece presents itself as a transparent, sculptural silhouette that honestly reveals its own construction.
Its design is characterized by a generously proportioned circular top resting on a monolithic-inspired square base. The solidity of its volumes contrasts with the visual lightness of the glass, creating a piece that seems to defy gravity and float in space.
Each table is handcrafted from a single piece of mouth-blown glass, a process that gives each piece a unique character. Subtle variations in thickness, tiny bubbles, and slight irregularities reflect its handmade nature and contribute to its authenticity.
The color is applied to the inside of the glass to ensure greater durability and preserve the smoothness of the outer surface. The piece is completed with a black oak base, which provides stability and an elegant contrast of materials and textures.
Naked is a collection that transforms transparency into presence, combining craftsmanship, sculptural design and contemporary sophistication to create pieces capable of becoming the center of any space.
Material: Each table is crafted from a single piece of hand-blown glass. The table is painted on the inside and mounted on a dark smoked oak base.
Due to the nature of the process, slight variations and air bubbles may appear.
