Le Roi is the French word for King, and the series is a minimalist interpretation of rattan furniture from the French colonial era, combined with well-known Scandinavian furniture archetypes such as the three-legged circular table and rectangular bench.
Le Roi is built as a solid oak frame geometry, inlaid with natural French rattan assembled according to traditional methods. The tactile French rattan creates translucent surfaces, highlighting the beautiful and simple construction.
