Tonella armchair, designed by the Note studio, for Sancal.

Sancal began his business journey manufacturing classic French-style armchairs. Four decades later, we decided to pay tribute to our beginnings from a contemporary point of view. After the success of the small dressing table, Note proposed to increase the family, but instead of children, Tonella attended the birth of his parents.

Continuing with the barrel as inspiration, Note has designed a larger armchair and sofa with a more relaxed seat. The upholstery of the interior pillows is smooth while the exterior part of the backrest is padded with a pattern of vertical lines to simulate that the barrel staves climb up the structure.

Material:

Fixed upholstery, not removable. Loose fabric.

The price includes S2 series fabrics

Seat structure: F1 steel tube and metal coil spring, covered with injected foam and 100g fiber.

Metal base: F1 steel tube (Ø16mm) extra matte lacquered finish, with noise-removing sliding block.
