Lounge Griante, designed by Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, for Pedrali .
The Griante collection elegantly reinterprets the traditional concept of woven seating, fusing Italian craftsmanship with the precision of industrial production. Its wooden frame is distinguished by its turned cylindrical legs, which lend visual lightness and a refined sense of balance. A discreet aluminum frame reinforces the structure and ensures maximum stability without compromising its aesthetic appeal.
The most distinctive feature of the Griante collection is its seat and backrest, handwoven in Italy with an innovative, fully recyclable, three-dimensionally textured polypropylene yarn webbing. This fabric not only offers exceptional comfort and durability, even in harsh weather, but is also easy to remove, facilitating maintenance and recycling at the end of its lifespan.
The pattern, composed of a rhythmic repetition of square geometries, highlights the seat's generous proportions and lends it a sophisticated, contemporary, and inviting character. The result is a piece that celebrates the tradition of handcrafted weaving, adapting it to the needs of modern design.
Griante is more than just a seat: it's an expression of balance between technology, sustainability, and timeless beauty. Would you also like a shorter version for a product sheet or bullet points highlighting key features?
