The LaFlaca table lamp, designed by Christophe Mathieu for Marset .
With the purpose of composing spaces through light, separating environments or uniting them, this new collection of floor lamps of large dimensions and little volume appears. A metallic structure is the one that tightens and shapes the fabric that surrounds it, transferring its aesthetic character to it. Inside it, a sphere is the source of light, although it is only perceived when it is turned on. This new lamp originally designed for outdoor use - although there is also a version for indoor use - uses a moldable textile material that does not deform. Through it, light is filtered, transformed and acquires a new function: it defines the space.
The indirect lighting that emits, accommodates, intervenes slightly and becomes part of the place. LaFlaca is offered in three sizes with different geometric shapes: a vertical rectangle, a horizontal rectangle and a square. The combination of these light sheets allows surprising textile architectural creations, not only for its beauty but also for the contrast between its large measurements and its almost flat volume, hence its name.
Gray lacquered stainless steel structure wrapped in a textilene shade.
Translucent methacrylate diffuser.
