The Volum collection is the reinterpretation of a lighting archetype from the point of view of an international architecture and design studio: a product that offers the same level of functionality and aesthetics from any point in space and at the same time pays homage to the glass art. Designed to fill a space with 360° illumination, it shines evenly in all directions, providing a calming, even glow.

To pay homage to the Italian tradition of spherical glass lamps and the art of blowing that gives glass naturally imperfect shapes, Volum has been conceived as four units different from each other in terms of shape and size that have a life of their own or to complete each other intuitively and harmoniously.

Without interruptions and discreet, in each Volum globe the diffuser and the structure merge into the same shape. To achieve this outstanding level of cleanliness, the upper part of the glass is designed so that it can be closed with a methacrylate lid that leaves the lamp "sealed". While the lid hides a metal piece attached to the diffuser and the structure that houses the light source, the only exposed element on the outside is a small opening that allows the cable to enter and helps to balance the globe.

Volum has been enriched with a glossy white finish, traditional but with an effect, which gives it a decorative touch thanks to the reflections on the surface. The tops have been molded from a special methacrylate that behaves very similar, if not identical, to extinguished and illuminated glass.

The four blown glass globes measure 14, 22, 29 and 42 cm in diameter. The transparent hanging electric cable allows the three smaller lamps to be placed both individually and in a rosette to create unique compositions. The cable is transparent so as not to add as a sign to the formal purity of the collection.
