A very light blown glass pendant lamp, Random is composed of three spherical diffusers of different sizes that form a simple and dynamic entity. Each diffuser is equipped with an LED light source that provides warm white light. Grouped into groups of Random pendant lamps, they give life to poetic compositions such as sets of soap bubbles, which the finishes enrich with character and originality.
Designed by Chia-Ying Lee, Random evokes a group of bubbles that playfully dance in the wind. Random translates the transience of the bubble into a perfect blown glass in the regularity of its surface and resistant to thermal changes. Thin metal cables support the three spheres of 18, 14 and 12 cm in diameter. A slim metal cylinder houses the wires for each sphere and creates a cluster of lights, while the new driver is concealed in the finial.
Hanging from the power cord, Random diffuses a light with a warmer (2700k) or cooler (3000k)* color temperature diffused by three 1W LEDs, one for each of the three blown glass spheres. The LED light source is positioned in a silicone casing on top of the lamp. Its color rendering index (CRI) of 90 faithfully returns the natural color of objects.
Random's innately playful character brings to life true luminous emotions. It can be used alone to illuminate a tabletop or in group compositions of pendant lamps to enliven larger living spaces. Thanks to the seven colors available, Random interprets the concept of chance in a creative and fun way. The different finishes offer a wide range of freedom to compose harmonies of animated lights, capable of creating a dynamic communication with the environment in which they are located.
