Tim Biskup is an American painter and sculptor (Santa Monica, CA, 1967) with a decidedly lowbrow line and inspired by the aesthetics of the 50s. His theories of art and actions carried out in this sense are sometimes cheerful and even funny, but he can tend towards nihilism, anarchy and revolutionary idealism, flooding the visual intensity of his paintings, sculptures and engravings. His version of The Guest reflects his art.
