With innovation and circularity at its core, the Mat chair collection is an exploration of how to create a contemporary chair with materials that have a lower environmental impact than the industry norm.

Designed by Danish design studio Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, this new chair design is the result of years of research and development. The frame of the Mat chair is innovatively made from hemp and algae. Materials constitute the very essence of design.

Materials not only provide a more responsible product, but also play a key role in the design aesthetic, highlighting the natural beauty and feel of the materials. With circularity and responsibility as core elements, the Mat collection is designed to be disassembled and recycled, ensuring that the components of the Mat chair can be recycled into new productions for a completely circular life cycle.
