Konstantin Grcic creates for Magis Bell Chair, a chair made from industrial waste that represents the excellence of today's industrial design. 100% recycled and recyclable, versatile, with a modern aesthetic, manufactured in less than a minute and with a tempting price.

The German designer Konstantic Gcric conceptualized his Bell Chair under eco-responsible principles, from its material to its production and packaging. Bell Chair is injection molded from industrial waste generated by the brand itself. It is made from leftover polypropylene from other pieces of Magis furniture, as well as from the local car industry. This new patented material contains nothing virgin or new and is also 100% recyclable afterwards. In this way, the chair completely closes a sustainable production cycle.

Another of its qualities is its weight, with only 2.7 kilos, well below what is usual for this type of plastic chair. This is due to the reduction of the material used in manufacturing, which consequently implies less energy consumption.

A key factor for such savings is its shell shape. Its bulbous geometry makes it structurally strong and it is also very comfortable, with arms and aesthetically attractive.

For the occasion, Magis has developed an innovative logistics concept that contributes to additional resource savings. Bell Chair is delivered on a reusable pallet, which can stack up to 12 chairs. In this way, less packaging material is needed and, by nesting vertically, the ecological impact during transport is reduced.
