Aura wall light with canopy, designed by Joan Gaspar, for Marset
A humble glass carafe kept in the designer's retina has been the beginning of the design process for the Aura wall light. From that traditional object, which for years was part of the domestic scene, comes this decorative lamp, which not only illuminates well but also shines on the wall when it is off. It is an emotional design, because of what glass means in the collective memory, and a rational and contemporary design, because it resolves that the light source does not weigh on the whole.
The opal, transparent or colored glass of its lampshade allows the light to bathe the wall and create a lighting effect without stridency that generates a point of interest in the space.
Aura comes in two sizes: 18 and 25 cm in diameter, to provide lighting solutions to smaller or larger spaces.
This light and decisive wall light must maintain the ideal proportion in the interior it has to illuminate, and the proportion always depends on the scale.
