Utzon JU1 suspension lamp, designed by Jorn Utzon, for &Tradition.

For Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jørn Utzon, his father's naval engineering drawings sparked a lifelong fascination with ships. Such interest is illustrated in the Utzon JU1, a pendant whose distinctive neck shape and crisp lines evoke the industrial silhouette of a ship.

First released in 1947, the Utzon is now available in three versions: brass; white; and the original two-tone model, made of lacquered brass and steel.

Offering a new take on classic Danish design, &Tradition welcomes the Utzon Special Edition lamp in Steel Blue to its collection.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the completion of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Sydney Opera House by architect and designer Jørn Utzon, this bold new shade brings striking new character to the pendant.
