Vase Cor Eva y Adán is Lázaro Rosa-Violán's version of Cor de Pepa Reverter. Lázaro Rosa-Violán teaches us that love of art is a feeling that has accompanied us since the times of Eve and Adam, in this order.
Cor Eva y Adán Vase, designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, for TotCor Project
The heart is a universal symbol. We have not invented it. We have simply materialized it to give it visibility. This representation of the heart is sometimes present in our cultures, at certain times of the year, or on the occasion of certain events. We use it when we need to remember how important it is to love, when we want to share and express good feelings.
What we have done is to shape it so that it is present in volume.
Being able to have it at home as one more object, with fresh flowers, made of paper, plastic, with branches or nothing, and if it can be full of illusions and hope so that they draw a better future.
The Cor vase is inspired by the Shiva vase designed by Ettore Sottsass in the 1970s, when Europe was experiencing an important cultural explosion. At that time the intention was to re-divide sexual freedom, but now, once this phase is over, we need to take another step. It is necessary to retake the great values that constitute the wealth of the human being: love, goodness, humanity, ethics, respect, generosity and brotherhood.
The red COR vase is the original design that serves as the basis for the other collaborations of the Tot Cor project. It is made of ceramic, by hand, like all those that are added to the collection.
Lázaro Rosa-Violán supports TotCor Project with its Eva y Adán version of the Cor de Pepa Reverter vase. Lázaro Rosa-Violán teaches us that love of art is a feeling that has accompanied us since the times of Eve and Adam, in this order.
